Trying to Feed a Two-Year-Old

So, Kristin went to city council last week and I watched Alyssa like I always do. I tried to feed her dinner. But she wasn't interested in eating. She said "No" to peanut butter, soup, noodles, macaroni and cheese. So finally, I tried to feed her a cheese sandwich. She appeared to eat it and asked for some potato chips; of course, I obliged.

I must not have been paying attention because this is what she did with her food.

Then, in desperation, I cut up an apple for her--which she proceedd to shred. I don't think Kristin believed me that Alyssa really did this of her own volition.

What, exactly, is the cheese sitting on? My kids will only eat Cinnamon toast. And whatever is on my plate, of course. It appears that you two have a very special child.

PS I like how you copywrited your material.

It is actually bread that the cheese is sitting on. She turned the sandwich in-side-out.

Thats awesome! Jaxon usually does a number to the food he doesn't like too...but nothing as artistic as Alyssa's masterpiece! Thats awesome! And props to you for documenting it! Thats awesome!

I love this story! It made me laugh! And it reiterated the fact that Skyler and I think you have a very smart, mature little girl. Hopefully we will get to see you guys soon!
