NKOTB. Do those letters mean anything to you? If you are my age, they certainly should. Let me remind you for those of you who have forgotten so quickly. New Kids on the Block. That’s right, the New Kids are back! Are you as excited as I am? YES! Did you have New Kids parties when you were thirteen. Did you eat off New Kids paper plates and wear giant New Kids Pin on Buttons? Was your room plastered with pictures you cut from teen magazines? I know you did this stuff too, don’t try to deny it. Embrace it, revel in it.
Which New Kid was your favorite? Most people liked Joey, not me though. I like shy guys. I loved Jon.
The real news for those of you haven’t heard is that they are reuniting and have made a new album. Their first reunion concert is Friday, May 16 on the Today Show. I am TIVO-ing the performance and am hosting a New Kids viewing luncheon at my house. Space is limited, call me if you want to come. I have enough Chicken Salad Sandwich makins’ for about 10 of us. Bring something to complement. (if you must bring kids feed them before you come. No runny noses or lingering coughs or any other symptoms please, I have a new baby in the house)
Surprisingly, all the New Kids are still quite attractive. You would think that at least one of them would be ugly, drugged out, overweight or dead by now….but no. Hang Tough, New Kids, see you tomorrow, can’t hardly wait.

No way! JON was my fav too! This might be because my sister and her friend "called" Joey and Jordan first and I was NEVER interested in Danny or Donny.
Yeah...i was a jordan lover. i think he's still the hottest. i'm so sad i can't make it down to your NKOTB party! take some pics and post them on the blog... i want to feel a part of it all! i've tivo'd it too and i'll be watching it for sure!
I have to admit that I was a Donny fan. Lucky for me I have been able to oogle at his brother over the years still :) I hope that you have a fabulous time! Nothing like good 'ol NKOTB!
I was too young to like them but I remember my babysitters were in love with them! They tried to force me and my sister to like them, but we had no idea. Enjoy the show!

Ahhh, NKOTB. I was a Jordan lover. Had a big huge button, the big poster, the works! I also had a video of one of there concerts. I watched it over and over and over. Sadly, in a moment of weakness, I wrapped it up and gave it away as a white elephant gift one Christmas... What was I thinking?! It did make many people laugh. I wish I could come and watch with you, but sadly, the boy is a sicky. I will look it up on youtube and watch along with you here. Have fun!
Who are the nkotb? just kidding... well kind of. Sorry i missed your party. My kids have been soooo sick. We need to play soon though when they are feeling better!
I'm so excited about them coming here! I loved Jordan Knight and my friend loved John. He was to "sensitive" for me. I love that you love it too!
