Supdate, nine months

Well she’s nine months now and always changing.

She’s a good happy little girl, but she needs things to be a certain way. She takes it personally if you turn your back on her and walk away. The other night, Steve was home with the girls while I was at a meeting and he reported that each and every time he walked away she got hysterical. He demonstrated her hysteria (not that he needed to, I’m very familiar with it) by turning around in circles in front over her. Sure enough, each time he had his back to her she’d freak out and cry, when he faced her she was fine, back turn cry, face her happy. He did this for like 30 seconds. It was so funny to watch.

She loves having the ability to stand now. We hardly ever see her not standing next to something. Her favorite place to pull herself up to is the family room window sill. She can just barely see out the window and seems to really enjoy the view.

She loves music and dancing. Every time she hears music she sways back forth. She just loves to rock out. I was at the store the other day, not paying much attention to her and the lady behind me pulled me aside to tell me how cute she was dancing to the music.

She started mimicking the chorister in RS on Sunday. The chorister noticed what she was doing and it made her smile. Sunny was so thrilled to see her smiling at her that she started to sing too. So cute.

Her main form of verbal communication is growling. She growls and growls just like a pit-bull. She loves it when you growl back at her too. If you growl at her she’ll go into this fake cough/choke sound. It’s scary actually, but it is her favorite thing to do.

She adores her sister. She still clamors for any attention Alyssa will give her. At night time I take her into Alyssa’s room so she and daddy can give her a kiss good night. Her little face just lights up when she gets her kiss from sister and her dad, whom she is in love with. It’s really touching to see.

She is not really that dependable of a napper. Sometimes she’ll do it and sometimes she won’t. No schedule for her, it only happens on her terms. But she sleeps great at night so I am not complaining.

She really is such a good girl! I only got like 2 minutes of hysteria the other night, thank goodness! Love you, love your family, love love Sunny!
